Confidence Restored

Botswana 2025, Q3 – Confidence Restored

Quarter 3 started with a challenge—a minor car accident and a painful coccyx injury just days before traveling to Botswana. It wasn’t the easiest start. My training was disrupted. I couldn’t sit for long, let alone compete at full strength. But I went anyway.

I flew to Botswana with a quiet hope and a decision to push forward. And it paid off. I made it to the semifinals in the second week. Not because I was at my physical best, but because I trusted the work I’ve been doing and stayed mentally focused.

My team stood behind me through it all. Anthony Harris Tennis Academy continued to guide me, and I kept applying everything I’ve learned with Richard Sutton—especially when it came to mindset, breathing, and staying calm under pressure.

This quarter reminded me that growth isn’t always obvious or comfortable. Sometimes it looks like traveling injured, adjusting your game plan, and walking away stronger than before.

The work continues. But so does the belief.

Thank you for the powerful update, Lyndsey.
