Lyndsey Philipps is a full-time junior athlete representing South Africa on the international stage.  She competes across Africa and globally, balancing a demanding training schedule with a rising competitive presence. 

Beginning tennis later than most juniors, she avanced quickly — earning national selection, breaking into the ITF Junior rankings, and gaining international exposure at events including the Miami Junior Orange Bowl.

Her path is structured, disciplined, and built for long-term development.  She trains with a team committed to athlete wellbeing, competitive growth, and excellence.

Her Timeline

  • Began tennis in Guatemala with casual early training.
  • Entered structured tennis and competitive play after moving to South Africa.
  • Debuted on the ITF Junior Circuit at age 13.
  • Competed twice in Women’s $15k Pro Tour Qualifying (WC).
  • Main Draw: Junior Orange Bowl U14, Miami, USA.
  • Completed 24 international tournaments accross Africa & Mauritius by age 14.
  • Selected for the South African National Team (2026).
  • Trains full-time within a supportive, athlete-centred performance environment.
