Richard helped Lyndsey look beyond individual results and reconnect with the person and athlete she was becoming.

Most importantly, he reminded Lyndsey that elite performers do not develop in isolation.

When Lyndsey found the courage to raise her hand, Marion answered with extraordinary generosity.

Marion did not simply offer encouragement. She brought clarity, standards and a clearer understanding of the work still required. She shared a phylosophy.

Her support also helped open access to international high-performance environments and the next stage of Lyndsey’s development.
